Previously published studies have shown evidence that poor IAQ associated with increased concentrations of nefarious cleaning agents may influence the onset of several non-communicable chronic diseases, such as asthma and allergy (Burge and Richardson, 1994, Wolkoff et al., 1998, Rosenman et al., 2003, Quirce and Barranco, 2010, Siracusa et al., 2013, Cavaleiro Rufo et al., 2015).
