Extracts of the leaves of Druanta repens LINN. were found to contain two new iridoids, durantoside IV and durantoside V together with several known compounds, oleanolic acid, ursolic acid, (E)-cinnamic acid, β-sitosteryl-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, (E)-p-methoxycinnamic acid, KNO₃ KCl, kusaginin, glucose, durantoside I, and durantoside II. Their structures was elucidated on the basis of spectral and chemical evidence. The absolute configuration of durantoside was determined by using the benzoate rule.
