Abstract:
This data set contains monthly model values of a series of ECHAM5-wiso simulations covering present-day climate, the mid-Holocene (6kyrs BP), and the Last Glacial Maximum (21kyrs BP). These model values have been used in an intensive comparison to a recent compilation of speleothem d18O data, compiled within the framework of the PAGES SISAL (Speleothem Isotopes Synthesis and Analysis) project.

Comment:
The files contain monthly mean model results of several ECHAM5-wiso simulations. A description of the model can be found in Werner et al. (2011).
All simulation have been performed in ECHAM T106L31 resolution and the data is stored in NetCDF format.
The files named ECHAM5-wiso.PD_nudged.* contain results of an ECHAM5-wiso simulation for the present-day climate, which was nudged to ERA40
and ERA-interim reanalyses data. Details of this simulation are described in Butzin et al. (2014). Simulation results cover the period 01/1958-12/2013.
The files named ECHAM5-wiso.MH.* contain results of an ECHAM5-wiso simulation for the mid-Holocene (6K BP) climate.
The files named ECHAM5-wiso.MH_cntrl.* contain results of the corresponding ECHAM5-wiso control simulation for the modern climate.
Details of both simulations are described in Wackerbarth et al. (2012). Simulation results cover the last 10 model years.
The files named ECHAM5-wiso.LGM.* contain results of an ECHAM5-wiso simulation for the last glacial maximum (LGM) climate.
The files named ECHAM5-wiso.LGM_cntrl.* contain results of the corresponding ECHAM5-wiso control simulation for the modern climate.
Details of both simulations are described in Werner et al. (2018). Simulation results cover the last 10 model years.
