Description

A Multi-annotator Survey of Sub-km Craters on Mars

A dataset of manually labelled small craters on Mars. Twelve images taken from CTX scenes over the MC11-East Quadrangle on Mars, each marked by six annotators. Agglomerative clustering has been used to combine annotations.

Also included are annotations by an "expert" for 4 of the twelve tiles, used in validation of the other annotators.

The images come in both .png and .tiff format, whilst annotations are in PASCAL VOC style xml files.

Also contained are several scripts used to cluster and validate the annotations, see the README for usage notes.

This project is part of the Original Research By Young Twinkle Students (ORBYTS) initiative, and involved collaboration between scientists at Mullard Space Science Laboratory with students at The College of Richard Collyer, Horsham.
