Description

Dataset for the publication "Prevalence and relationship of endosymbiotic Wolbachia in the butterfly genus Erebia" in BMC Ecology & Evolution.

Wolbachia_MLST_alignments.zip contains the MAFFT aligned FASTA sequences of five (coxA, fbpA, ftsZ, gatB, hcpA) standard Multi-Locus Sequence Typing loci for Wolbachia. Sequences were obtained from PubMLST and include the newly sequenced sequences of Erebia cassioides. Files named "reduced" contain only one sequence per haplotype.

Wolbachia_ortholog_sequences.zip contains the 184 single-copy ortholog sequences for 36 Wolbachia genomes in FASTA format.
