From spiral cleavage to bilateral symmetry: the developmental cell lineage of the annelid brain

Posted on 2019-09-30 - 12:21 authored by Pavel Vopalensky
This data collection includes the datasets of life-imaging recordings of 5 Platynereis dumerilii embryos for the article accepted for publication in BMC Biology as:

Vopalensky P, Tosches MA, Achim K, Handberg-Thorsager M, Arendt D: "From spiral cleavage to bilateral symmetry: the developmental cell lineage of the annelid brain"
BMC Biology, 2019

The dataset for each embryo includes:
1) The 4D recording in a .tif format. The recording contains membrane and nuclear channels for each Z-slice and each time frame. The file sizes for different embryos are as follows:
Embryo 1: 30 MB
Embryo 2: 42 MB
Embryo 3: 1.14 GB
Embryo 10: 2.09 GB
Embryo 11: 1.66 GB

2) The tracking file in a .txt format. The tracking file could be used in combination with the 4D stack or the Z-projection of the 4D stacks (supplementary files on the BMC Biology journal page of the article) using the FIJI/ImageJ Macro package (supplementary file on the BMC Biology journal page of the article). The file size is around 1 MB.

3) The lineage trees for each of the cell present at the first frame of the recording. The lineage trees are in scalable vector graphics (.svg) format and the size is maximum of 1 MB.
